Mikita Badziakouski Surpasses $65 Million In Career Poker Tournament Earnings

Belarusian Takes Down European Poker Tour Monte Carlo €50,000 Event To Earn $893,272

Mikita Badziakouski

At just 33 years of age, Mikita Badziakouski has already accumulated the third-highest tournament earnings total in poker history. The Belarusian’s latest triumph on the circuit saw him defeat a field of 50 entries in the 2025 European Poker Tour Monte Carlo €50,000 no-limit hold’em high roller to add $893,272 to his haul.

This victory came just a few days after he placed sixth in the €100,000 buy-in for $496,078. As a result, his career total now sits at $65,720,249. Only Bryn Kenney ($76,792,663) and Justin Bonomo ($69,415,857) have cashed for more on the circuit.

Badziakouski now sits just over a quarter of a million dollars ahead of fourth-ranked Stephen Chidiwick ($65,466,557) on poker’s all-time money list. (Author’s note: some relevant results from this week are not yet reflected in our database due to ongoing website maintenance.)

Such is Badziakouski’s resume that this latest win, worth nearly $900,000, does not even make the list of his top 20 largest scores.

This was the first title and fourth final-table finish of the year for Badziakouski. He earned 510 Card Player Player of the Year points as the champion, putting himself in prime position for another strong showing in the POY race.

The World Series of Poker bracelet winner and five-time Triton Poker champion had plenty of tough competition to deal with down the stretch in this event, including bracelet winner Masashi Oya (6th), and World Poker Tour champion and two-time bracelet winner Nick Petrangelo (4th).

Chris Nguyen, just a few days removed from winning the €100,000 super high roller for more than $2 million, finished third in this event for another $398,772. The former online cash game grinder is quickly making quite a name for himself on the live high-stakes tournament scene. He already has more than $5.1 million in career cashes under his belt despite logging his first recorded score less than three years ago.

American poker pro Brian Kim took home $590,228 as the runner-up. The bracelet winner and 2024 WSOP main event seventh-place finisher now has more than $11.8 million in total earnings after this latest deep run.
