CardPlayer.com will host the live cash game streams for all Live at the Bike webcasts (every Tuesday and Friday, 7:30-10:30 p.m. PST) and also partner with Live at the Bike for special programming.
To celebrate the partnership, Card Player will be bringing you the cash game hand of the week, featured from a past episode of Live at the Bike.
Here’s a look at this week’s hand.
The Details
Game: $2,000 minimum buy-in no-limit hold’em
Blinds: $25-$50
Approximate Stack Sizes: Harry ($32,000), Barry Woods ($13,000), Matt Salsberg ($6,000), Ron ($1,600)
Action: Harry limps in early position and Barry does as well. Matt raises to $300 and Ron makes the call on the button. Harry and Barry both call and the flop comes down 7 6
3
.
Harry and Barry both check and Matt bets $700. Ron and Harry both fold and Barry raises to $2,100. Matt tanks for a bit before folding pocket tens and Barry scoops the pot with a set of threes.
The Questions
What do you think of Matt’s laydown? Is it as “easy” as the commentator’s suggest? Given Matt’s stack size and the size of the pot, would he have been better off with a smaller, or bigger flop bet? Did Barry cost himself money by playing his set too fast? Do you think he raising to induce a shove or was he raising to price out flush and straight draws?
