SOUTH
- The 2012 WSOP Circuit – Harrah’s New Orleans (May 10, ‘12 – May 21, ’12) The final WSOP Circuit series before the season-ending National Championship begins this week at Harrah’s New Orleans, with a total of 12 gold-ring events on the schedule. The first week is highlighted by a $565 no-limit hold’em event that begins on the 12th.
NEVADA
- The 2012 Five Star World Poker Classic (May 04, ‘12 – May 26, ’12) Huge tournament poker action continues at the Bellagio into the second week of it’s 34-event series. Highlights from the coming days include a number of $1,080 no-limit hold’em events and a $1,590 no-limit hold’em event that begins on May 12th. The centerpiece of the whole series, the $25,000 WPT Championship will begin on May 19th.
- The 2012 WSOP Warm-Up (May 04, ‘12 – May 20, ’12) Caesars Palace’s WSOP Warm-Up marches on this week, with a number of games and formats for players to choose from at lower buy-ins. Highlihgts from this week include a $130 pot-limit Omaha event that starts on the 9th and a $240 no-limit hold’em event that begins on the 12th.
- The 2012 Pot of Gold Poker Spring Tournament (May 10, ‘12 – May 20, ’12) The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno kicks off it’s sizable 31-event spring series this week. Highlights from the early days include two $340 no-limit hold’em events beginning on the 11th and 12th.
CALIFORNIA
- The 2012 California State Poker Championship (May 02, ‘12 – May 20, ’12) The Commerce Casino’s 18-event event spring series continues into its second week, with highlights including a $340 limit Omaha/Stud eight-or-better split event that begins on Monday, the 7th and a $550 no-limit hold’em event.
FLORIDA
- The 2012 Palm Beach Deepstack Challenge (May 11, ‘12 – May 20, ’12) The Palm Beach Kennel Club kicks off its six-event spring series later this week, with the highlight from the early going being a $345 no-limit hold’em event that starts on May 11th and plays until a winner is determined on the 13th.
MIDWEST
- The 2012 South Dakota State Poker Championship (May 11, ‘12 – May 13, ’12) The Silverado Franklin in Deadwood, SD is hosting a $1,100 no-limit hold’em main event starting on the 11th. The event will continue until a champion is decided on the 13th.
