The World Series of Poker Circuit is pulling into St. Louis, Missouri this week for the latest of its 12-event stops. Harrah’s St. Louis will play host to the series starting on April 12th and continuing until the 23rd.
There are a number of great events for people to enter, but the highlight of the entire series is undeniably the $1,600 WSOP Circuit main event that begins on the 21st and continues until a champion is decided on the 23rd. Last year’s main event drew a field of 449 players, creating a $646,762 prize pool. The last man standing at the end of three long days of play was Kyle Cartwright, earning his third gold ring, $142,290 and 960 Card Player Player of the Year points.
In addition to the main event, players will also have many other options to fulfill their tournament fix, with buy-ins running from as low as $355 all the way up to the $1,600 main event. There will also be a number of different games and formats to choose from, with a $355 pot-limit Omaha event, a $355 no-limit hold’em re-entry event and a $355 six-mas no-limit hold’em event.
