Nottingham’s Dusk till Dawn poker club says it is on course to host the UK’s largest ever poker tournament next week when it expects 1,600 people to take part in Grand Prix III.
The buy in for the event, which takes place from Monday May 16 to Sunday May 22, is €50 + €10 and the prize pool is a guaranteed €80,000. The club needs to register 1,058 to beat the current record held by PokerStars for its UK & Ireland Poker Tour in Dusk Till Dawn earlier this year.
There are five starting days – days 1a to 1e – and play starts each evening at 7 p.m. with 30 and 40 minute levels and 10,000 starting stacks.
