World Series of Poker Makes Card Player Media Official Choice for 2006
Card Player, the world's leading poker media company, has announced that it has entered into an exclusive relationship with Harrah's Entertainment and the World Series of Poker. As the official magazine and content provider for the World Series of Poker, Card Player Media will bring its 18 years of experience to the table and provide top-flight, in-depth coverage of the biggest poker event on the planet.
In partnership with the World Series of Poker, Card Player Media will have exclusive rights to real-time coverage from all events from June 25–August 10. The following coverage will be available through CardPlayer.com:
· live hand-by-hand reporting from the floor
· streaming video of player interviews, event recaps and behind the scenes action
· real-time chip counts
Card Player will also be the official content provider for www.worldseriesofpoker.com, the official World Series of Poker Internet site. In addition to supplying content for the web, Card Player will provide daily printed newsletters that will be available onsite throughout the duration of the tournament series. Card Player Media will also provide the official brochure of the World Series of Poker.
According to Jeffrey Pollack, World Series of Poker commissioner and vice president of sports and entertainment marketing for Harrah's, the combination of the two poker powerhouses will provide exceptional coverage of this year's event.
