An Indiana man saw his life change after hitting a progressive jackpot game at a Michigan casino. He hit a $1.4 million payout at FireKeepers Casino in Michigan and was quick to call his mom with the news.
The winner, who the casino identified as Anthony W, called his mother and a video of the conversation went viral on Twitter.
In the video, the lucky winner is shouting into the phone and telling his mother they are changing neighborhoods.
“Momma, we are out of the hood! We’re leaving tomorrow,” said Anthony.
“There’s cloud nine and then there’s cloud-fucking 20,” said the man taking the video.
Five Bucks To Seven Figures
The win came after the bettor placed a $5 “Bonus Spin Xtreme” side bet at the blackjack table. When the dealer busts on 26, the wager is paid out and the the players will spin an electronic wheel where they can win a progressive jackpot.

The progressive side bet links several table games and includes a wheel feature, giving players the potential to spin for large jackpots. The game actually features three spinning wheels within one larger wheel. One of the wheels dictates a community payout for all participating players.
The game has grown immensely in popularity since AGS launched the brand in 2022. The must-hit progressive features three jackpot levels.
