To celebrate the partnership, Card Player will be bringing you the cash game hand of the week, featured from a past episode of Live at the Bike.

Here’s a look at this week’s hand.

The Details

Game: $5-$10 no-limit hold’em

Action: Sarkis called with KHeart SuitJClub Suit, German called with 8Spade Suit7Diamond Suit, Harry called with JDiamond Suit3Club Suit, Fred completed from the small blind with 5Club Suit4Club Suit and Soss checked his option with 9Club Suit6Club Suit.

The flop came down QClub Suit10Club Suit6Diamond Suit and Soss bet $30. Sarkis called, as did Fred and the turn was the AClub Suit. Fred bet $75 and Soss raised to $250. Sarkis then reraised to $500 and Fred folded.

Soss called and the river was the ADiamond Suit. Both players checked and Soss revealed his flush to win the pot.

The Questions

Should Fred or Sarkis ever be raising the flop with their draws? Was Soss correct to lead with his pair and flush draw? Should Fred have bet out with his turned flush or gone for a check-raise? Was Sarkis correct to three-bet the turn, if only to buy himself a free showdown? Should either player have attempted a thin value bet on the river?
