Following the pattern that the live poker scene set in January, the month of February will offer many different major events all across the globe, including new stops from the World Poker Tour, World Series of Poker Circuit and European Poker Tour, among others.
The tournament trail will especially be busy in Europe. The 15th annual Euro Finals of Poker is already under way at the Aviation Club de France in Paris. It will end with the €5,000 World Poker Tour National Diamond Championship from Feb. 9 to 13, and the €10,000 buy in High Rollers event on Feb. 14 and 15.
WPT Venice has also already gotten started with its televised €3,300 buy-in WPT championship at Casino Di Venezia in Venice, Italy. This venue will also host a €10,000 high roller event starting on Feb. 7.
The PokerStars European Poker Tour will also keep rolling along, when it makes its way to Casino Copenhagen on Feb. 17 for a 37,250DKK main event.
January-February Events
Several events began in January and continue into February. Perhaps the largest of those is the L.A. Poker Classic, which began on Jan. 19 at the Commerce Casino with 54 tournaments on its schedule. Its televised $10,000 World Poker Tour main event will begin on Feb. 25.
Also stretching along from January is the WSOP Circuit‘s visit to Harrah’s Tunica. It will run through the completion of its $1,600 main event starting on Feb. 13. Days later, the WSOP Circuit will take over the Palm Beach Kennel Club in West Palm Beach, FL. on Feb. 17.
In Vegas, the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza I began on Jan. 28 and wraps up with its $2,500 main event on Feb. 23.
