DoylesRoom.com, the online poker site fronted by poker veteran Doyle Brunson, yesterday confirmed in had launched its
Last year Microgaming restricted access to the U.S. market by moving out of 13 states.
Cake Poker Network accepts players from all U.S. states as well as European players.
The new site celebrates the move with a $5,000 freeroll on Saturday Jan. 31 at Noon GMT as well as a $150 buy in $100,000 guaranteed tournament at Noon on Sunday Feb. 1.
Brunson, ambassador for the site, said, “We wanted to offer our players a rewarding place to play and the liquidity and integrity associated with the Cake Poker Network made this an easy choice for our new partnership.”
Card Player reported earlier this week that the move was imminent but it is not yet clear if and when players who play on Doyle Room via the Microgaming network will be migrated.
