The sixth Irish Poker Classic festival will take place from Aug 11 — 17 in the Macau Sporting Club in Cork. Among the 165 players already registered for the €1,500 + €100 main event are some of the biggest names in poker including Annette Obrestad, Rumit Somaiya, Roy “The Boy” Brindley, Mick McCloskey, Marty Smyth, Fintan Gavin, and Nicky Power.
Betfair are hosting $2 turbo feeders daily at 12.30 a.m., 5.30 p.m., and 9.30 p.m., with 2 seats guaranteed to the weekly final which will take place tomorrow and Aug. 9 at 9.30 p.m. From those weekly finals 4 seats are guaranteed to the $250 grand final on Sunday Aug. 10 at 7.30.pm. Five $2,500 packages to the main event will be on offer in the grand final.
Players can also try their hand at winning a seat on GreenJokerPoker. At 8 p.m. daily, its $11 rebuy tournaments will see some lucky players moving on to the $109 grand finals on Sunday Aug. 3 and 10 at 9.30 p.m. A seat worth €1600 is guaranteed in each of these finals.

Aug. 14: Mega bonus super satellite Irish Poker Classic freezeout (€200 + €20)
Aug. 15: €150,000 GTD main event freezeout — 3 days (€1500 + €100)
Aug. 16: WSOP Europe satellite — 1 rebuy/add-on 1 seat GTD (€500 + €50)
Aug. 17: No-limit hold’em scalp freezeout — 1 rebuy or 1 add-on (€270 + €30 + €30)
