The shorter stacked player held the J10.
The board came down 9758A and the short stack turned a straight to win the pot and double up.
Blinds are up to 1,200-2,400 with a button ante of 2,400.
As we approach the final few eliminations of the evening, here’s a look at the top five stacks currently in the room.
William Wolf — 330,000
Sam Weiss — 280,000
Julian Chung — 155,000
Jason Warner — 135,000
Ernest Aschacher — 130,000
A short-stacked player moved all-in from the button for 16,000. William Wolf called out of the big blind holding the Q10. The short stack had the KJ.
The board ran out Q331010 to go Wolf the full house and the pot. The player on the button was sent to the rail early in level 13.
Blinds have increased to 1,000-2,000 with a button ante of 2,000 for level 13.
Jared Griener raised to 3,700 and was called by Larry Quang before Kevin Wan moved all-in for about 40,000 behind him.
Griener then shoved all-in to isolate, forcing a fold from Quang. Griener showed AQ, which was racing against Wan’s pocket tens.
“One time,” Wan pleaded, and the dealer obliged, putting out a board of 773J5.
Wan doubled up to around 85,000.
With a board of AQ410 Sam Weiss bet 12,000 and Julian Chung made the call.
The river brought the 6 and Weiss checked. Chung cut out a sizable bet of 28,000 and fired it into the pot.
Weiss called, saying, “Show me the heart.”
“Good call,” said Chung as he turned up his A5.
Weiss had the AQ for top two pair, which was enough to earn him the pot. He now sits 2ith 204,000.
Players have returned from break to increased blinds of 800-1,600 with a 1,600 button ante for level 12.
