James Shultz Bio

Jimmy Shultz is a full-time mortgage broker who was enduring some hard times because of the status of the market, but the part-time poker player eased up his financial woes at the 2008 World Series of Poker.

In his first ever WSOP event, he won a $1,500 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament for just over $257,000. Schultz announced that he plans to donate 25 percent of his winnings to a special fund for firefighters in the Charleston Fire Department, having lost a few friends on duty.
