David Chiu Bio

Born in China and raised in the U.S., Chiu is arguably one of the best limit hold'em players on the planet. This California resident is the proud owner of five World Series of Poker bracelets.

After six cashes in World Poker Tour events, a title had so far eluded him. It wasn't until the 2008 WPT Championship that Chiu took home his first title and the nearly $3.4 million first-place prize.

A former restaurant owner, Chiu is known for his perseverance at the tables and has the bankroll to prove it.
