Sam Laskowitz Captures Final Title Of Inaugural PGT Bounty Blitz

Jeremy Becker Wraps Up Impressive Run With His Fifth Final Table At Six-Event Series

The inaugural PokerGO Tour Bounty Blitz series is officially in the books. A total of $1,390,000 in prize money was awarded across the six events that comprised this festival’s debut schedule.

Sam Laskowitz won the final event of the series. The lawyer turned poker pro outlasted a field of 38 entries in the $5,000 no-limit hold’em mystery bounty event to earn $36,500 from the main prize pool and $13,600 in bounties. The overall haul of $50,100 increased Laskowitz’s career earnings to nearly $3.8 million.

This was Laskowitz’s second overall PGT title, having also taken down a $10,000 event during the tour’s Last Chance series in January of 2024.

With nine qualified cashes, five final tables, and one title in 2025, he now sits within striking distance of the top 100 in this season’s PGT standings.

Becker Caps Incredible Series With Fifth Final Table Finish

The top six finishers earned a share of the $190,000 prize pool in this final event. Bryan Swanson, hot off a fourth-place showing in the penultimate tournament of the series, placed sixth for $24,100 in combined earnings. Three-time bracelet winner and 2024 Poker Masters purple jacket winner Jim Collopy was the fifth-place finisher, earning $13,400 in total payouts.

Mike Zulker had finished fourth in the PKO event a couple of days earlier for $19,000. He placed in the same spot in this event as well, adding another $19,700 in combined earnings.

Jeremy Becker, who was at his fifth final table of the series, was the next to fall. He got all-in with Q10 trailing the AQ of bracelet winner Andrew Lichtenberger. The board came down J8344 and Becker was sent packing in third place ($18,200). The winner of the series kickoff event cashed for a total of $138,400 during the festival, including a runner-up showing in event no. 4 and this third podium finish.

Becker’s lifetime tournament earnings now sit at more than $3.2 million. One day before this final run, Becker shared some of his thoughts about his streak in a video posted by the PGT.

Laskowitz Over Lichtenberger

The final two players struck a deal to redistribute the remaining prize money a bit. Lichtenberger held the lead at the time, but the two swapped positions when Laskowitz won a big pot with jacks and tens besting his opponents lower two pair.

In the final hand of the series, Laskowitz limped on the button with AJ and Lichtenberger shoved from the big blind with K10. Laskowitz called and the two saw a flop of K84. Lichtenberger improved to top pair, but his time in the lead was short. The A turn gave Laskowitz a pair of aces and the advantage heading into the river. The Q changed nothing and Lichtenberger was eliminated in second place.

Lichtenberger earned $25,100 from the main prize pool and $39,400 in bounties. He now boasts more than $24.2 million in career cashes after this latest deep run.
