August has started with a bang for high stakes poker railbirds, and much of the action centres around Jared Bleznick, who rose to fame in the early days of online poker as ‘Harrington25’.
From six-figure hero calls to $500k monster pots and chip stacks over $1 million, his recent exploits at nosebleeds PLO have sparked some of the best online poker site action we’ve seen this year, up to as high as $1000/$2000.
What’s more, they truly showcase his love for the game. After this Summer’s WSOP which he commentated on, Jared posted a heartfelt video stating:
‘Falling in love with the game of poker at 16 years old watching Chris Moneymaker win the 2003 main event, was one of the greatest moments of my life. Here we are 22 years later, and I still love the game of poker. My main focus in life has been sports cards, that will never go away, but I am so appreciative to the poker community for taking me in on my commentary. You have no idea how much it means to me, that people have told they are watching poker because I am commentating. My number one goal with that is to bring new people to play new games. Draw, Stud, Omaha Hi/Lo, PLO, whatever it may be.’
The New Yorker added that Michael Mizrachi’s performance across the 21 days of the World Series of Poker was in his opinion the ‘greatest performance in the history of poker, gambling and sports’, even comparing The Grinder to Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes.
It’s fitting then that Jared is now putting on an electrifying performance himself, at the online poker tables.

Jared has been on a tear on blockchain poker site CoinPoker, under the screenname ‘Theblez’. The games are played in a cryptocurrency – Tether (USDT) – but equivalent in value to the US Dollar, and are accessible worldwide.
With its international playerpool, the best of the best poker names are often seen battling at high stakes, and the sharks have been lining up to take on Jared Bleznick. He’s managed to hold his own though against the best Pot Limit Omaha crushers out there.
Jared is no fish – the sports card hobbyist has a WSOP bracelet, close to $10 million in live tournament earnings, and defeated Patrick Antonius three times on the televised poker show High Stakes Duel.
The best poker hand histories from his session today against PencilArms are listed in the thread above, and another for his duel with Giselle54 here. Sources close to Card Player report that Giselle54 is a new alias of one of the top ten Pot Limit Omaha players in the world, who prefers not to be named in articles.
If you’re a fan of high stakes online poker you can likely guess who it is however, given the stakes and playing style. Jared was not afraid to put it all on the line though with some very speculative hands and the relentless aggression he’s known for.
In the $500,000 pot above, Jared started the hand with $1 million (in USDT) and three bet preflop. Giselle made the call, sitting on just over $400,000. Blinds are $1000/$2000, with a $400 ante.

The pot sized turn bet with blockers to the straight puts a lot of pressure on Giselle54, but this had been a loose and crazy game up to this point. Giselle had seen Jared barrel off on a bluff before and play some very speculative hands for stacks in three bet pots.
Several examples are in the first half of the video below posted by Card Player’s Bobby James:
At the 8:20 mark, the roles are reversed and Jared calls the three bet, then calls down the triple barrel bluff including a pot sized turn and river bet.
Bobby also covered Jared’s biggest hands against GucciNIKE, Clickr, Yodogoki, Venividi1993 and KennedyP in a video on July 30th – watch that here.
Jared’s loose image got him paid off in another pot worth over $500k though:
