Drake Shows $8 Million Gambling Losses In One Month

Canadian Rapper Shares Wins And Losses In Recent Instagram Post

Canadian rapper Drake is known as a high-stakes gambler. But recently, he showed his social media followers just how much he risks – and loses.

That included revealing an $800,000 bet on the Oklahoma City Thunder to win Game 6 of the NBA finals. Then, Drake showed a monthly loss for the last month of more than $8.2 million.

Nine-Figures Worth Of Total Bets

A screenshot of his action displayed bets of more than $124 million during that time as well for the five-time Grammy winner.

“Gotta share the other side of gambling… losses are so fried right now,” he noted on Instagram. “I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max these guys max once a week.”

The NBA wager added another loss to the ledger as the Indiana Pacers won 108-91. Drake is paid $100 million a year to endorse the Stake cryptocurrency online gambling platform, according to the Financial Times.

That endorsement includes sharing plenty of his bets on the platform – and there have been many. In 2024, he lost $300,000 betting on the Canadian soccer team.

He bet $1 million on Argentina to win the World Cup in 2022, and they did indeed take home the trophy. However, he still lost the wager because the match finished in penalty kicks. That was considered a draw based on traditional soccer betting. He also lost $275,000 on the UFC’s Jorge Masvidal to beat Colby Covington.

In the past, Drake won $559,000 on Super Bowl wagers on the Rams to win and on Odell Beckham Jr. to score a touchdown. A $159,000 bet on the Golden State Warriors to finish atop the NBA’s Western Conference also brought a nice return of $650,000.

In March, a video went viral showing the rapper alone in an empty club playing online slots. Despite his love of gambling, the rapper doesn’t appear to have any appetite for online poker.
