Cherish Andrews is having a career year on the live circuit. The World Series of Poker bracelet winner’s three largest tournament scores have all been recorded in 2025. The biggest saw her take down a $25,000 high roller at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown for $408,265 in April. Then, in August, she placed second in a $25,000 event at the same venue’s SHRPO series for another $318,427.
Andrews’ latest deep run saw her defeat a field of 84 entries in the PokerStars North American Poker Tour Las Vegas $10,300 no-limit hold’em mystery bounty event, earning $111,300 from the main prize pool and another $220,000 in bounties. She now has nearly $4.7 million in recorded scores to her name after this triumph, with more than $1.4 million of that coming from her 39 cashes made so far in 2025. That makes for a personal best for the emerging high-stakes star.
Rankings Points Galore
Andrews also scored plenty of rankings points with the victory, which came at the NAPT’s host venue, Resorts World Las Vegas. The 480 Card Player Player of the Year points grew her total to 2,904, placing her in 100th place in the 2025 standings presented by CoinPoker. This was her second POY-qualified title and ninth final-table finish so far this year.
The Las Vegas resident has also secured 111 PokerGO Tour points with this win, enough to put her inside the top 150 in the season-long standings with a total of 364.
Andrews had plenty of tough competition to contend with down the stretch, including Landon Tice (9th), PokerGO founder Cary Katz (8th), Clemen Deng (5th), 2023 NAPT $5,300 high roller winner Sam Laskowitz (4th), David Coleman (3rd), and two-time bracelet winner Nick Petrangelo (2nd).
Coleman climbed to 37th in the POY race with his latest podium finish. The 2024 POY race second-place finisher is well situated for another strong showing in 2025, with one title and 12 final-table finishes so far this year.
