
Of course, since then, he’s only done more to prove his worth in the poker world. For the second year in a row, Affleck navigated his way through the massive field of the World Series of Poker main event and into the top 100. After surpassing his 2009 best of 81st place, Affleck found himself among the chip leaders with just 15 players remaining. Then, disaster struck. Affleck was just one card away from the chip lead and a guaranteed spot at the final table when his world came crashing down. A bad beat suffered at the hands of current chip leader Jonathan Duhamel ended his run in 15th place.
Affleck joined the Online Zone on Card Player TV this week for an interview wherein he discussed not only his main-event exit, but also the positive attitude that is allowing him to move on.
