Microgaming and 888 have been awarded a licence to operate in the French online poker market by regulator ARJEL.
A joint venture established by the two companies will now launch into the increasingly active, regulated market.

Elsewhere Microgaming has signed Alderney-based Samvo to its online poker network. Samvo started life as a telephone betting operation which has grown to include online gaming and high-end hotels.
