Everest Poker and Betclic Poker online sites have gone live in the newly liberalised French online poker market.
This follows on from yesterday’s news that bwin was the first site to launch just after midnight on July 1.
Arthur Wang, chief executive of GigaMedia, joint owner of the sites along with Mangas Gaming, said, “We are especially excited about the opening of the large French market to online poker. Everest and BetClic are strongest in France and we see an enormous market opportunity for which we are best positioned with our award winning poker products.”
Elsewhere early market leader Ongame Network (owned by bwin) has also launched EurosportPOKER into the now-regulated market.
