Swedish online high stakes poker player Joel “Odonkor1” Nordqvist has joined Team Victory Poker.
Dan Fleyshman, chief executive of Victory Poker, said,“I’m truly excited to sign such an online superstar and look forward to his performance at this year’s WSOP. We’ll also be keeping an eye on him in nosebleed high-stakes games online.”
Nordqvist was nominated for “best online player” at the 2009 PokerStars Scandinavian Poker Awards and in April this year he won over $850,000 in just one week at the high stakes cash game tables online.
