Asia Pacific Poker Tour — Sydney Grand Final Begins Tue

Sydney Hosts the Finale for the Third Season of the PokerStars APPT


APPT LogoThe final stop for season three on the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour will begin tomorrow in Sydney, Australia. The $5,636 ($6,300 AUD) no-limit hold’em Grand Final will start at 12:30 p.m. local time. There will be three day-one flights in this event, and the tournament participation is capped at 750 entrants. The Sydney Grand Final will crown a champion on Sunday, Dec. 6.

There will be numerous side-events taking place at the Star City Casino in Sydney this next week in conjunction with the APPT stop. A $15,300 AUD no-limit hold’em high-rollers event will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, and a champion will be crowned at the final table on Wednesday. There will also be a $550 AUD ladies no-limit hold’em event on Thursday, and a $3,200 AUD heads-up no-limit hold’em event on Sunday.
