One of the most anticipated heads-up events of the year begins tomorrow at the Stampede Casino in Calgary, Alberta. The $5,000 heads-up tournament is the main event at the Canadian Open Poker Championship, and it is also a Canadian Poker Tour event. The tournament will feature a best two-out-of-three match play, and players will begin with 10,000 in chips. Blinds level will be 20 minutes long. The bracket drawing will take place tonight at the CPT Ultimate Players Party, and the field is capped at 128 players.
