DevilfishPoker Revenue and KPI's Show Strong Growth

Devilfish Gaming Plc Results Prove Encouraging as Poker Revenue Expands


Devilfish Gaming Plc, owner of DevilfishPoker.com, today announced its interim results for the second half of 2008 Dave showing strong growth in poker revenue, yield per active player, and user sign ups.

The company, which is quoted on the London PLUS market and launched on the Entraction network in May 2008, said daily poker revenues were now regularly exceeding €3,000 per day and that there had been a four-fold increase in monthly poker revenue between July 2008 and January 2009.

Further, gross poker revenue for January 2009 exceed €76,000 with continued encouraging growth.

The statement also said there was strong continuing growth in the overall poker network liquidity with Entraction’s liquidity up 108 percent in 2008 which launched it into the top five open poker networks for liquidity.

Yield per active poker player jumped from €22 in June 2008 to €94 while the total number of user sign ups exceeding 8,000 players with 2,400 of these active cash or tournament players.

During the period the company acquired Hungarian online poker site Paramin Poker and launched its Devilfish Partners affiliate program and intergrated affiliate marketing software.

Paul Barnes, CEO, said of the results, “Following the successful but demanding float process, and the subsequent establishment of key supplier relationships and infrastructure to start trading, the business has really come on strong during the period, and we therefore feel we can justify our continuing confidence in the inherent brand equity of Devilfish and so are excited about our future prospects as a company as we move to the next stage in our growth. Further, to achieve present revenue levels in a short space of time with a low cost base in the current competitive marketplace and difficult economic climate is very encouraging.”
