Professional poker player Devin “TranquilChaos” Porter will be holding a charity tournament tonight at 20:30 EST on PokerStars. The tournament is a $30 + $3 buy-in no-limit hold’em event and can be found in the private tab under P5’s Charity. The password is pocketfives. Proceeds will go toward the cancer treatment of Devin’s father, Dean Porter.
Participants are being asked to donate 50 percent of their winnings to Porter’s cause, but many in the online community have already pledged more. Kevin “BeL0WaB0ve” Saul, James “jcamby33” Campbell, Adam “Roothlus” Levy, Jared “TheWacoKidd” Hamby, Shawn “WestTexasMan” Rice, Joel “tekiller” Devries, Josh “bbbbb33” Weizer, Jonathan “wein” Wein, Todd “koolkeith13” Lewis, and Jeremy “EndlessJ” Menard have already signed up, among others.
Now is your chance to play against some of the online world’s best for a relatively small buy-in, and it all goes toward a good cause.
