Mike “The Mouth” Matusow has joined up with the poker video training site Card Player Pro (powered by PokerSavvy Plus), and poker enthusiasts and students of the game can now get an inside track to the pot-limit Omaha and World Series of Poker bracelet winner’s playing style with hand-for-hand examples.
The first Matusow video, which covers a pot-limit Omaha cash game, is already up on the site. A free clip of this video will be available at the Card Player Pro preview page on Monday, along with three other free clips from Card Player Pro trainers. Those interested can also sign up for a free seven-day trial for Card Player Pro on that same page, which gives access to every single video and the comprehensive strategy forum.
Matusow joins a roster of trainers that includes five other talented poker pros, each with unique specialties and styles. The other Card Player Pro trainers are Isaac “Ike” Haxton, Justin “WPTHero” Rollo, Evan “_fisherman” Roberts, Dani “ansky” Stern, and Chris “tribefan9” Rhodes. The videos they produce cover both no-limit and limit hold’em, both cash games and multitable tournaments, and everything from heads-up play to full-ring games.
Aside from the training videos, all of the pros, including Matusow, contribute with poker blogs, detailed strategy discussions on the PokerSavvy Plus forums, and strategy articles in Card Player magazine (each of which includes a link to a free training video that contains the hand discussed in the article).
