He Clears $200,000

Chris 'Jesus' FergusonChris "Jesus" Ferguson defeated a local player heads-up at the World Series of Poker Circuit event that was held at Harvey's Lake Tahoe this weekend. He won $203,000.

This is Ferguson's third WSOP Circuit victory. He also owns five WSOP bracelets, including one from the no-limit hold'em main event (2000).

The $5,150 event attracted 142 players. Ferguson came to the final table with 426,500 in chips, which was nearly a 2-1 chip lead over his closest competitor. To add to his opponents' miseries, Ferguson was able to hit some hands in order to put the tourney away.
