Bursting the money bubble of a poker tournament often takes quite a while, with the short stacks vying to outmaneuver each other for a piece of the prize pool. There is usually plenty of accumulated tension in the room, with players craning their necks to sweat possible eliminations at neighboring tables.
All of that drama was avoided in the ongoing PokerGO Tour Pot-Limit Omaha Series $15,000 mystery bounty event thanks to a four-way all-in that resulted in the rare triple knockout for the eventual winner.
The hand was dealt with 15 players remaining and a dozen set to make the money, with a min-cash worth $19,500 from the main prize pool and mystery bounties already in play. With blinds at 6,000-12,000 and a big blind ante of 12,000, three players got the last of their stacks in before the flop, with two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Bryce Yockey in the mix with all of his opponents covered.
The players at risk were Jose ‘Nacho’ Barbero from the button (545,000), six-time bracelet winner Nick Schulman from the small blind (320,000), and Tomasz Krzesinski (127,000) from the big blind. Yockey was in middle position.
The hands were as follows:
Yockey: 97
6
5
Barbero: AJ
J
7
Schulman: KQ
10
9
Krzesinski: K10
8
2
The flop came down A6
5
and Yockey hit bottom two pair to take the lead, in terms of showdown value. Barbero had nailed top pair and the nut flush draw, though, giving him several paths to victory.
The turn was the 2, which left Schulman drawing dead according to Card Player’s poker odds calculator for Omaha. Yockey was the favorite with his two pair, but had plenty to fade going into the river. The 3
was a safe card for him, though, and somehow his sixes and fives were enough to earn him the pot. All three of his opponents were sent to the rail empty-handed.

Day 1 of this event ended with just three players remaining, with Yockey among them. He currently sits in second chip position, with Tyler Brown out in front and seven-time bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu on the short stack. Stay tuned to Card Player for a full recap of this event after it concludes.
Brown already pulled the largest bounty up for grabs, worth $125,000. He also nabbed the second-largest ($50,000) and third-largest ($25,000) possible payouts before the day was done. There are still several large bounties to be pulled, including one each at $50,000 and $25,000.
