The action heated up this week as the 14th season of PokerGO’s High Stakes Poker continues. The episode saw Alan Keating and Marc Kulick square off in a six-figure battle that required a big bluff, and an even bigger call.

With blinds of $200-$400, Alan Keating raised to $2,000 with 8Diamond Suit 3Diamond Suit from middle position. Ryan Feldman called with KHeart Suit JSpade Suit in the cutoff and Marc Kulick also called with KSpade Suit 5Diamond Suit on the button.

With the pot at $7,000, the three players saw a flop of AHeart Suit 8Club Suit 6Club Suit. With middle pair, Keating was a 75% favorite to win the hand, according to the Card Player Poker Odds Calculator. He bet $6,000 and Feldman folded. Kulick called and the 2Heart Suit came on the turn. Keating was now a 94% favorite to win the hand.

Keating checked and Kulick bet $20,000. Feldman called and the 7Spade Suit fell on the river. Feldman once again checked and Kulick took his time before putting in a brick of cash and some chips totaling $45,000.

“Do I get a round of applause if I win,” Kulick said as his opponent considered his options.

“Only if it’s a bluff and I fold,” Keating responded.

The banter continued for a bit and Keating checked his cards again, still sitting on second pair with no kicker. He then threw in his chips for the call and saw the good news.

Kulick would receive no round of applause for this one as Keating dragged a pot of $149,000. Kulick simply slid his cards to the muck, opting not to reveal his bluff.

Originally from Michigan, Keating has become a regular fan favorite in streamed cash games like Hustler Casino Live, No Gamble No Future, and Poker After Dark for his fearless play. The well-heeled investor and poker player has chalked up more than $2 million in losses during those appearances, however, according to the HighRoll Poker cash game tracking site.

Kulick, the founder and CEO of Vesta Capital and Vesta Realty, has been dipping his toe into the world of high-stakes poker lately. He won a pot worth more than $600,000 earlier this season on the PokerGO show.
