The 2023 NAPT Las Vegas runs from Nov. 4-12 for those wanting to get in on the action. On Friday, Oct. 20, organizers announced that fans keeping tabs on the action will be able to enjoy three days of live-streaming coverage down the stretch of the festival.

The broadcasts will be available on both PokerStars Twitch and YouTube channels, with commentary by James Hartigan, Joe Stapleton, Maria Ho, Griffin Benger, and Nick Walsh.

Here is a look at the broadcast schedule:

  • Friday, November 10: NAPT Las Vegas $1,650 main event day 3 (12:30 (PST)
  • Saturday, November 11: NAPT Las Vegas $1,650 main event final table (13:00 PST)
  • Sunday, November 12: NAPT Las Vegas $5,000 high roller final table (13:00 PST)

“We are thrilled to partner with PokerStars as we celebrate the return of the NAPT with the first stop at Resorts World Las Vegas,” said Leon Wheeler, Director of Poker Operations at Resorts World Las Vegas. “The NAPT Las Vegas is sure to bring players in from all over the globe, and we look forward to hosting them once again at our world-class property.”

In addition to the tournament coverage, this upcoming stop at Resorts World Las Vegas will also play host to exclusive satellites qualifying players for the return of PokerStar’s popular cash game show, The Big Game.

The show is returning for the first time since 2011, and will once again pit a qualifier, dubbed the ‘Loose Cannon’ against top poker players, with their bankroll for the high-stakes action provided for. The press release announcing the show described the premise thusly:

Each session lasted 150 hands, and if the Loose Cannon survived, they were allowed to keep any profit they made in the game. Some of the best-known and most viewed hands of all time happened on The Big Game, and it’s back with a modern 2023 twist.

The Big Game On Tour satellites at Resorts World Las Vegas are slated On Sunday, November 5. The shootout tournaments will see 20 players move on to the next stage: casting, which will take place on Nov. 6-7. The audition process is run by a panel of judges that includes hosts James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton. The panel will choose two players who will each be given $50,000 to play in The Big Game on Tour, with two $100-$200 cash games planned for Nov. 8-9. Ten episodes from these games are expected to be released in 2024.

“The Big Game was one of the most beloved poker programs of all-time,” said VP of PokerStars North America, Steve Preiss. “As we continue our focus on creating the best poker content, re-imagining and re-launching The Big Game was a no-brainer."
