The Charity Series of Poker will be hosting a $300 buy-in no-limit hold’em event to benefit The Ability Center of Southern Nevada on Sept. 16 at The Stirling Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The tournament begins at 7:00 pm, and there will be a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and a 50/50 cash draw preceding the tournament that begins at 5:30 pm. Anyone can attend the cocktail hour and silent auction for $100 without participating in the tournament.

Through the power of exercise, The Ability Center empowers its members to discover new strength, ability, and confidence to live their best lives. Help the CSOP make exercise easily accessible to the special needs community in Southern Nevada.

The poker tournament will feature starting stacks of 10,000, with 20,000 chips per add-on. There is a $5,000 grand prize up top for the winner. Attire for all of the evening’s events is business casual.

Established in 2014, the Charity Series of Poker is a nonprofit company founded to organize and promote charity poker tournaments and other events that raise money and awareness for worthy charities and causes. Poker professional Matt Stout is the founder and president of the CSOP.

The September event will be the 53rd stop of the series, and other upcoming stops include a Cards for Curling stop on Aug. 26. That $300 buy-in event begins at 5:30 pm and will benefit CurlVegas. It will also take place at The Stirling Club. A silent auction and buffet will be hosted before the tournament at 4:30 pm, and anyone can attend that for $150 without playing in the tournament.
