WSOP 2007: Erik Seidel

Disappointing So Far...

Card Player caught up with multiple bracelet holder Erik Seidel during the World Series of Poker.

Card Player: How has the World Series been to this point?

Erik Seidel: It's been disappointing so far. I've had a few minor cashes but nothing to get too excited about.

CP: Are you playing the same number of events you planned to back on June first?

ES: I always thought I would just play as much as I had the energy to play. There have been some days I was just too tired to play. Unfortunately, I am not one of these guys who can play two and three events a day.

CP: So you will obviously play the main event and maybe the hold'em rebuy tomorrow?

ES: Yeah, those are on the schedule.

CP: We interviewed Bill Edler a couple of days ago and he was a bit down on his game and last night he won his bracelet.

ES: Well good, great! I hope that works for me.

UPDATE: Three Days later Erik Seidel won his 8th bracelet in the Deuce-to-Seven NL Event #54.
