New Jersey’s poker market was virtually unchanged in February.
According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, live poker revenue was $2.1 million last month, while online poker rake was $2.2 million. The entire poker market was about $4.3 million, nearly identical to the roughly $4.4 million raked last year. In February 2016, live poker was $2.4 million, while online poker was $2.0 million.
February 2016 had one extra day due to the leap year.
The poker room at Tropicana was the only property in Atlantic City to see a year-over-year uptick in poker rake, according to the state figures.
Revenue at Bally’s fell by 37 percent year-over-year.

The Garden State poker market was $5.7 million in January, up three percent year-over-year.
For comparison, Maryland’s poker market was $3.68 million in February, up 30 percent year-over-year. Unlike New Jersey, Maryland doesn’t have online poker.
