The long-anticipated MMA fight between poker pros JC Alvarado and Olivier Busquet will take place Thursday night in Las Vegas. The live stream of the fight is below.
The fight begins at 6 p.m. PST at the Syndicate MMA Gym in Las Vegas.
Alvarado, who has some formal fighting experience, will be risking $150,000, while Busquet has put up $120,000. Busquet comes in weighing 187 pounds, while Alvarado comes in at 165. They are about the same height. The bet was agreed upon in October.
A poll conducted by Poker Hall of Famer Daniel Negreanu indicates that the poker community thinks Busquet has the advantage, likely due to his size.
