CoinPoker Hosting $50 Million Guaranteed Global Online Poker Championship

700+ Medal Events And Three Main Events Headline Six-Week Series

CoinPoker has unveiled its biggest tournament series of 2026, with the Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC) set to run from Aug. 23 through Sept. 28 with $50 million in guaranteed prize pools.

The six-week series will feature more than 700 Medal Events. There will be three regional schedules built around primetime in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, and three buy-in tiers designed to give players options across different bankroll levels.

“The Global Online Poker Championship was built to be our biggest tournament series, but also, our most accessible to the world’s players,” a CoinPoker spokesperson said. “More players can compete during their local primetime, at whatever stakes suit them.”

$3 Million GOPC Main Event Headlines Championship

The flagship tournament is the $530 GOPC main event, which carries a $3 million guarantee. Day 1 flights will run primarily on Sundays, with the final day 2 scheduled for Sept. 28 at 17:30 UTC.

The $55 Global Main will feature a $1 million guarantee, while the $11 Global Mini Main will guarantee $250,000. Both lower buy-in events are expected to offer daily day 1 flights, with their day 2 tournaments scheduled for Sept. 21.

The series will also feature a GOPC edition of the CoinMillion on Sept. 6. The $215 buy-in tournament will guarantee $1 million, with day 2 taking place Sept. 7.

The same day will feature the $55 CoinMinion and $11 Mini CoinMinion, carrying $250,000 and $100,000 guarantees, respectively.

700+ Medal Events Add Value Across Six-Week Series

More than 700 medal events will award gold, silver and bronze medals to the top three finishers throughout the series. Gold medal winners will receive physical awards in addition to digital versions displayed in their CoinPoker trophy cabinet, while silver and bronze finishers will also receive permanent digital awards.

Leaderboards will provide another source of added value, with further details expected to be announced by CoinPoker.

CoinPoker said the GOPC will bring the total guaranteed tournament prizes awarded across its major 2026 series to more than $133 million, including the World Poker Masters and Battle of Malta Online.

Ahead of the championship, CoinPoker is also scheduled to launch its 3-Bet Club on Aug. 17, offering members additional benefits including tournament discounts.
