CoinPoker Battle of Malta Satellites

CoinPoker doesn’t kick off the Battle of Malta online series until July 12, but players can start qualifying for tournaments today.

The online poker site began offering its satellites for the upcoming $1 million guaranteed CoinMillion event. The qualification pathway operates within the CoinPoker app and concludes at the start of the official series on July 12. In total, the satellites will award at least 1,024 seats to the $215 buy-in tournament.

The satellite system features a four-step structure. Players enter the first tier, Step 4, at no cost. These freerolls run three times daily and award entries into Step 3, which carries buy-ins ranging from $0.10 to $0.50.

Step 2 tournaments cost between $0.55 and $4.40, advancing winners to the final qualifying stage. The Step 1 direct satellites require buy-ins of $5.50 to $44 and run up to nine times a day. On July 12, a specific $25 Step 1 event guarantees 100 seats to the target tournament.

Kicking Off Battle Of Malta With The CoinMillion

The CoinMillion serves as the opening headline event for the broader Battle of Malta Online Series. Day 1 begins on July 12, with surviving players returning for Day 2 on July 13. Competitors start with 100,000 chips and have access to unlimited re-entries through Level 16. The structure includes bubble protection, final table blind rollbacks, and deal-making options.

The previous CoinMillion event drew 4,278 entries, awarding $126,500 to the first-place finisher. The winner receives a physical Battle of Malta trophy in addition to the cash prize. Reviewing the schedule on social media, online poker prodigy Ben ‘Bencb’ Rolle called the series “value you cannot miss.”

The wider Battle of Malta Online Series guarantees $30 million across 23 days of play, ends Aug. 3. The schedule features a $565 Main Event with a $2.5 million guarantee, alongside lower-tier Main Challenger and Main Crusader events that push the combined main event guarantees to $3.1 million. High roller tournaments include the $1,500 CoinMasters BTC with a $1 million guarantee and two $5,200 buy-in events.

The operator will distribute 77 physical trophies throughout the series. Players also compete for 100 live packages valued at $2,500 each for the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition. The series concludes with a final weekend schedule guaranteeing $10 million across 120 events.
