It’s been a big month for high-stakes tournament crusher Alex Foxen, who announced in late May that he had joined ACR Poker as a site ambassador.
After starting the year with four wins and eight final tables on the high roller circuit, the perennial Player of the Year contender then made his mark on the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Halfway through the 2026 summer series, Foxen has six cashes, five final tables, and a win that brought him his fourth career bracelet.
Foxen’s Run In Las Vegas
The former Boston College football player started his summer with a fourth-place showing in the $25,000 heads-up championship for $300,000. After two more cashes, he took fifth in the $600 NLH/PLO event for another $55,305 while watching his wife win her sixth bracelet in the $25,000 high roller.
Foxen then finished sixth in the $100,000 high roller for $522,347, before finding the winner’s circle three days later. The 35-year-old banked $594,246 in the $10,000 super turbo event, along with more than a dozen bounties. Most recently, he added a seventh-place showing in the $25,000 PLO for another $267,993.
As a result of his stellar run, Foxen now has the lead in the WSOP Player of the Year race, with a sizable lead over his closest competitors in Nick Schulman and Shaun Deeb.
More ACR Team Pro Success
ACR Poker pros Chance Kornuth and Chris Hunichen have also been busy at the Horseshoe/Paris Las Vegas.
Kornuth has cashed for more than $300,000. The four-time bracelet winner made the final table of the $25,000 six-max high roller, finishing sixth for $218,091.
After taking third in the WSOP Europe main event for $921,754, Hunichen finds himself in seventh place in the POY standings. The bracelet winner has five summer cashes, including a final table in the $500 freezeout and a 10th-place finish in the $100,000 high roller.
