Sebastian Toro Henao Wins Wynn Summer Classic $3,500 Event for $908k

Colombian Outlasts 1,722 Entries In $5 Million Guaranteed Affair For Career-Best Score

The 2026 Wynn Summer Classic $3,500 no-limit hold’em event drew a sizable turnout of 1,722 entries across four starting flights, surpassing the $5 million guarantee by nearly half of a million dollars.

The $5,467,350 final prize pool was paid out amongst the top 225 finishers, with the largest share going to eventual champion Sebastian Toro Henao. The Bogota, Colombia resident earned $908,139 for the win, the largest score of his career. His previous top payday was a $201,030 win in a $400 event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, which saw him defeat 4,783 entries.

This triumph boosted Henao’s lifetime haul to nearly $1.7 million, with tournament cashes dating back a decade now.

In addition to the trophy and the money, Henao also earned 1,620 Card Player Player of the Year points for the win. With his earlier victory in Florida adding 528 points, he has climbed inside the top 75 in the 2026 POY standings presented by CoinPoker.

Plenty of big names ran deep in this event, including Roberto Romanello (37th), Nicholas Seward (31st), Daniel Maor (29th), Harrison Gimbel (18th), Aram Zobian (14th), Shannon Shorr (13th), Jared Jaffee (9th), Scott Bohlman (5th), and Joseph Cheong (3rd).

A wild hand from the final table made the rounds on social media, with Jack Corrigan’s AA besting the KK of Diego Silva (7th – $157,082) and the QQ of Nazar Buhaiov (8th – $115,410).

Despite holding up in that crazy preflop three-way all-in, Corrigan was ultimately the next to fall (6th – $209,044).

Henao defeated Georgios Tsouloftas heads-up for the title. He came from behind with KJ against the Cypriot’s AQ in the final hand, rivering the winning pair on a 873QK runout to bring the event to a close.
