The FIFA World Cup named the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL as a major sponsor of the 2026 tournament. Next month, when the tournament kicks off, FIFA will host seven matches in Miami.

The casino is now an “Official Miami World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter.” It will host a pop-up experience at the FIFA Fan Festival at Bayfront Park from June 13 to July 5.

“With our destination minutes from the local excitement at Miami Stadium, we are uniquely positioned to extend the fandom beyond the pitch and make the experience extraordinary for those traveling to South Florida for the tournament,” Hard Rock International Chairman Jim Allen said.

Providing Transportation Services For Matches

The casino will host themed events and fan programming. It will also support the Miami Host Committee’s Mobility Plan by providing shuttles to Miami Stadium.

“Seminole Hard Rock Casino has always been about bringing people together through the power of music, entertainment, and unforgettable experiences,” Hard Rock Gaming President Keith Sheldon said.

“As soccer fans gather in Florida for the FIFA World Cup 2026, we are thrilled to be part of the celebration and to create memorable fan experiences in Miami that capture the energy and global spirit of this historic event.”

No doubt some of those on the shuttle may give the dice tables and slots a shot as well. North America is the 2026 location. FIFA will hold matches in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico between June 11 and July 19.

As part of the U.S. portion, FIFA will hold matches in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle. The Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver will also host games, along with Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Monterrey in Mexico.

Betting Big On World Cup

It’s likely that some of the fans in attendance will wager on the games. According to FCBusiness, gamblers will wager $150 billion on this year’s tournament.

That could be good news for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, which owns Hard Rock International. The company has an exclusive deal to offer online sports betting in the state of Florida.

Former professional poker player Sergej Barbarez will manage the Bosnian squad.
