Jeremy Druckman popped up on the tournament poker radar for the first time back in January 2013. The Philadelphian made the final table of that year’s World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open, and also cashed in the World Series of Poker main event over the summer.
Druckman’s sporadic tournament appearances in recent years have come almost exclusively in pot-limit Omaha. He took a major step forward during the 2026 PGT PLO Series at Venetian Las Vegas, winning the $10,300 PLO championship event for $182,400. While he narrowly missed out on a career-best result by a bit over $100, Druckman recorded his first major live tournament victory.

This was the second final table of the week for Druckman, following a fourth-place finish in event no. 2 for $27,000. In this latest victory, Druckman outlasted a field of 57 and ultimately defeated Isaac Kempton heads-up to secure the trophy. The triumph came with 300 Card Player Player of the Year points towards the yearlong leaderboard presented by CoinPoker.
On day 2 of this three-day event, the action carried through the money bubble at nine players and even an elimination past the official final table of six. Jordan Glazer, fresh off winning a $5,000 buy-in event earlier in the series, finished in sixth place ($31,350).
On The Road To Victory
With five players returning, Druckman returned with the chip lead and never relinquished it. His advantage swelled even further when he recorded the first elimination of the day. Druckman raised the button and LaDarren Banks called in the big blind. On a J♥8♣4♦ flop, Banks open shoved and Druckman snap-called, turning over A♣J♣J♠6♠ for top set. It was a tough spot for Banks, as he held the last jack and not much more with A♦K♠J♦3♣.
The 4♣ turn made Druckman a full house, and promptly ended any idea of a runner-runner save. Banks, at his second final table of the series, settled for fifth place ($42,750).
Things only got better for Druckman in the hour that followed. The next key showdown began with him limping from the small blind with J♠10♠7♦5♦. Zach Schwartz checked out of the big blind with K♠Q♦8♦4♣. On a Q♠10♦4♠ flop, Druckman checked, Schwartz bet, and Druckman raised the pot to commit himself. Schwartz shoved for a little bit more and Druckman called. Schwartz’s two pair was ahead, but Druckman picked up more outs on the 9♣ turn.
The 6♠ river completed Druckman’s spade flush, and doomed Schwartz to a fourth-place finish ($57,000).
Druckman recorded his third consecutive knockout at the expense of Philip Shing, who had three-bet all-in from the small blind with A♣Q♥10♣3♥. Shing was up against the A♥Q♦J♦6♥ of Druckman. The J♠9♦5♠10♦3♦ runout gave Druckman a diamond flush to send Shing and his two pair to the rail in third place ($79,800). This was the third podium finish of the festival for Shing, who placed second in the quattro bounty and third in the mystery bounty events.
Closing Time
Kempton started heads-up play at a 4:1 disadvantage, but mounted multiple valiant comeback efforts. On this day, though, Druckman’s lead was simply too much. In the final hand, Kempton limped the button, Druckman raised, and Kempton called. The 8♠7♠6♥ flop saw Druckman check. Kempton bet the pot and then called when Druckman moved all in.
Druckman tabled K♣9♠9♥5♣ for a flopped straight, and Kempton needed help with his top two pair, holding K♥8♥7♣2♠. The K♠ turn gave Kempton an additional out, but the J♣ river was not one of his cards.
Druckman finished as the runner-up in the PGT PLO Series-specific leaderboard after adding in the 114 PGT points that came with this victory. Chino Rheem won the PGT Gold Cup thanks to four cashes over the course of the series, marking his second PGT PLO Player of the Series and fourth overall PGT Player of the Series honor.
