The 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju has advanced to the back half of its 20-event schedule, with several massive events yet to decide their champions. The two latest winners crowned at the LES A Casino in South Korea both took down single-day turbo tournaments.
The first of the pair of fast-paced affairs to wrap up was the $30,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em event. A total of 99 entries made for a $2,969,999 prize pool. While 17 players ultimately made the money, only one would walk away with the title and the trident trophy: Mehdi Chaoui. The 25-year-old from Morocco raced his way to his first Triton title and $747,000 in prize money.
This was the second-largest score of Chaoui’s career. His top payday of $873,000 came in a runner-up showing in the $40,000 mystery bounty event at the Triton Jeju stop last fall. He now has nearly $4.6 million in recorded scores to his name, with more than $2 million of that coming from his nine cashes on this tour.
This victory came with 756 Card Player Player of the Year points. This was Chaoui’s first title and fifth final-table finish of 2026. With 1,594 total points, he now sits just outside the top 30 in the POY standings, which are sponsored by CoinPoker.
Chaoui had plenty of tough competition to deal with down the stretch, including Triton co-founder Richard Yong (9th), Alex Foxen (7th), recent $60,000 event winner Daniel Rezaei (4th), and Seth Davies (3rd). Bracelet winner Nguyen Le earned $505,000 as the runner-up, growing his lifetime haul to more than $5.6 million in the process.

The stakes were upped to $50,000 for the next turbo event, with bounties added in for good measure. A total of 46 entries were made by the end of registration, resulting in a $2,300,000 prize pool.
When the dust settled, only reigning POY winner Jesse Lonis was left standing. This was the fourth Triton title for the 30-year-old New York poker pro. He earned $474,000 from the main prize pool. Even that hefty sum was dwarfed by his nine bounties totalling $540,000. All told, Lonis walked away with $1,014,000 as the champion.
The 510 POY points that came with the trophy moved Lonis into 22nd place in the 2026 standings. This was his first win and fourth final-table showing so far, with 1,790 points and more than $2.2 million in to-date POY earnings. Lonis is looking to become the first player in history to win the award in back-to-back years.
Lonis now has more than $30.5 million in career earnings after this latest triumph.
Three-time Triton champion Kiat Lee finished second for $343,000, while Kelvin Kerber earned $221,000 plus $120,000 in bounties as the third-place finisher. Three-time Triton champion Alex Foxen (4th) and recent $25,000 Jupiter event winner Quan Zhou (5th) also ran deep. Foxen climbed to 19th in the POY standings with two titles and four final tables on the year, while Zhou moved into second place in the rankings thanks to six final-table showings and one win so far in 2026.
Danilo Velasevic, who finished second in the $125,000 buy-in days earlier for more than $1.8 million, placed seventh in this event.
