‘Clickr’ versus ‘Giselle54’ carried on with more deep-stacked pot-limit Omaha action on CoinPoker this week. After Clickr already took the first round of their match with a sizable win, they added another $158,00 to their bankroll at Giselle54’s expense.
A couple of big river bluffs blew up in Giselle54’s face during their latest sessions, which took place on Nov. 18. Once again, the players battled at $200-$400 with $80 ante.
Clickr Makes Sneaky Straight in Four-Bet Pot
Playing about 200 big blinds deep, Clickr opened to $1,200, Giselle54 potted to $3,600, and Clickr repotted to $10,800. Giselle54 called.
Giselle54 came out betting with $10,867 on the 9♠8♦4♠ flop. Clickr called. Both players checked the 9♥, and the 5♥ completed the board. Giselle54 potted for $43,470, and Clickr called.
Giselle54 had air, with K♠Q♦J♥7♠ for a missed combo draw. Clickr made a straight with K♥7♣6♥5♣ and won the $130,435 pot.

Hand Analysis
Giselle54 goes for a pretty aggressive three-bet here, holding a hand that’s slightly below the normal three-betting threshold. The 7 really hurts their hand since it’s disconnected from the rest of the cards. Having a 9 or 10 would be much preferred here, and even and 8 improves the hand quite a bit.
In any case, Clickr makes a four-bet with the sort of hand that’s important to mix into the bluffing range. It has bad blockers since it doesn’t have an A in it, but that becomes much less important at 200 big blinds, where playability becomes king.
The 9-8-4 flop favors the out-of-position player in a four-bet pot here. The four-bettor should be heavily concentrated around aces, and while they will still hit this texture sometimes, Giselle54 leads for half-pot with an understanding that the board will often miss Clickr.
Once the board pairs, Giselle54 has pretty bad blockers since they have spades and Q-J-7. They could bet small and represent full houses with a plan to jam the river if they improve. They go for a check, though, and Clickr has no reason not to take a free card, with terrible blockers of their own.
On the river, Giselle54 has pretty much the worst blockers possible. Only the 7 is doing anything for them. This hand makes little sense to bluff, but Giselle54 goes for the pot-sized bet.
Clickr has an easy call with a hand toward the top of their range. They won’t have many hands better than a straight after four-betting, and Giselle54 could still have trips for value, although most of those hands would bet the turn.
Clickr Plays Full House Slow
Approximately 180 big blinds deep, Clickr potted on the button and called a reraise to $3,600 from Giselle54.
Giselle54 bet $2,000 on the 10♠10♦8♠ flop, and Clickr called. Action checked through on the 3♠. On the 2♠ river, Giselle54 checked, Clickr bet $7,556, and Giselle54 potted to $34,003.
Clickr called, and Giselle54 showed J♦10♥5♦4♥ for trips. Clickr had K♦Q♥3♦3♣ for a turned full house.

Hand Analysis
Giselle54 flops trips here after three-betting a double-suited hand. They use a small sizing on the flop, and Clickr has one of the worst hands they can continue with, a pair and backdoor diamonds. The pocket 3s give them a chance to turn some sneaky full houses, and they will have to bluff some turns and rivers in order to make the peel worthwhile.
Giselle54 could keep betting the turn for a small size, but checking works too, unblocking spades.
Clickr checks as well despite hitting their full house. It’s an interesting play because they could get value from spades, trips, and overpairs. However, in deep-stacked PLO, weak full houses can get in very nasty spots facing check-raises.
The fourth spade on the river makes flushes less likely. With hardly any money going in post-flop, Giselle54 could bet their trips small for value again. They check, though, and Clickr has a clear large bet with a bad boat.
At that point, Giselle54 has to check-raise bluff at least some of the time with trips. They don’t really beat any value, Clickr should bet most of their flushes at this point, and having a 10 blocks all of the good full houses.
Clickr can bet-fold flushes that unblock full houses on the river. But pocket 3s are too strong to fold here, especially when it’s kind of hard for Giselle54 to have full houses. They’d bet the turn at least some of the time, and their three-betting range won’t contain a lot of 10-2 combos.
The bluff-catch works out for Clickr as they win essentially a full stack with a pot of $79,366.
