The Bicycle Casino stop on the Card Player Poker Tour kicked off strong on Thursday with event no. 1, a $100+$25 rebuy tournament with 165 entrants, 159 rebuys and 98 add-ons.
The $30,000 guarantee was blown away as the field generated a total prize pool of $40,934.
Play wrapped up around 1 a.m. local time with Quoc “Vinnie” Vinh emerging victorious, taking home the title and the $11,054 first-place prize. Vinh now has nearly $2.5 million in career tournament earnings.
The CPPT at the Bicycle Casino continues on Friday with the $1,100 main event with the first of three starting days. The side events resume on Sunday with a $125+$25 re-entry bounty tournament.
