Antonino Venneri Wins Italian Poker Tour Campione

Italian Tops 244-Strong Field To Lift €130,000

Courtesy of PokerStars.itAntonino Venneri from Italy has ensured the latest PokerStars Italian Poker Tour title stayed on home soil after he beat a topped a field of 244 player in Campione.

Venerri took down €130,000 for his victory in the €2,000 + €200 buy in main event.

He beat fellow countryman Ivan Losi head up. The final hand saw Vanneri move all in with AClub Suit 2Club Suit and losi made the call with 9Diamond Suit 9Spade Suit.

However an ace on the flop sealed Losi’s fate and he walked away with a healthy €100,000 consolation.

The Italian Poker Tour’s next stop is San Remo from July 26 to 30, 2012.
