The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Walsall main event starts today at the Grosvenor G Casino in the English city.
The £1,000 + £70 buy-in starts at 2 p.m. and runs for three days. Players get 20,000 in chips and a one-hour clock. Late registrations and alternates are accepted for the first four hours of play.
Last year the GUKPT Walsall main event attracted 171 players and was won by taxi driver Alan Mansbridge from London who took down £50,000.
