The Asia Series Overdrive is entering its final stretch, with roughly two weeks remaining in the online festival at WPT Global.
The series runs through Aug. 30 and guarantees more than ¥200 million in prizes across hundreds of tournaments.
Players still have several major opportunities ahead in the schedule, including four WPT Ring events scheduled over the final two Sundays of the series.
Final Ring Events
The Top Gear MYSTER¥ Phase awards a Ring through its ¥188 buy-in and ¥2 million guaranteed Day 2.
The line-up continues Aug. 23 with the Mystery Nitro Championship, carrying a ¥660 buy-in and ¥2 million guarantee. The Boost Mode MYSTER¥ Phase will also play down that day, with a ¥188 buy-in and ¥2.5 million guarantee.
The festival concludes Aug. 30 with its biggest pair of Ring events. The Grand Prix Main Event features a ¥880 buy-in and ¥2.5 million guarantee, while the Full Throttle MYSTER¥ Phase offers a ¥188 buy-in and ¥3 million guarantee.
Triple Ring Challenge
Players who win three WPT Championship Rings across one or multiple Asia Series will unlock a ¥3 million Triple Ring Club bonus, worth approximately $440,000. The promotion rewards players who can complete the challenge rather than limiting the prize to a single winner.
There is no cap on the number of players who can earn the bonus. Any player who captures three qualifying WPT Rings can claim the full ¥3 million reward.
Additional Rewards Remain In Play
The final weeks also provide chances beyond the headline events. The Overdrive Leaderboard is awarding ¥2 million in total prizes, with players earning points through tournament finishes as well as early registration and bubble bonuses. Only each player’s top 10 scoring days count toward the leaderboard, so there’s still time to get in on the action.
WPT Global is also running Daily Missions during the festival, letting players earn tickets to Daily ¥50,000 Finals. The promotion includes tournament, deposit and casino wagering missions, with a total of ¥2.1 million earmarked for the Daily Missions promotion.
