The Golden Bong In Poker Pro Alex Foxen’s Trophy Case

Four-Time Bracelet Winner Says Bong Is 'Coolest Trophy'

Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen is one of the most decorated poker players in history. The perennial Player of the Year contender has racked up $61 million in tournament earnings, with 38 trips to the winner’s circle, including four World Series of Poker bracelets.

But despite all of the hardware he’s accumulated over the years on the live circuit, it’s an online poker trophy that he calls “the coolest” that he has ever won.

An Unforgettable Prize

Foxen added one of poker’s most unusual pieces of hardware to his collection after topping the leaderboard in ACR Poker’s High Five series. His reward was the one-of-a-kind Golden Bong trophy, a cannabis-themed prize that quickly became one of the most talked-about awards in the game, even getting attention from High Times.

“Finally received the coolest trophy I have ever won,” Foxen said on Twitter. “Getting in some post-WSOP recovery and ready to get back in the online streets for Venom in a couple weeks.”

The New York native joined the ACR Poker team earlier this year alongside fellow high-stakes pros Chris Hunichen and Chance Kornuth.

The High Five series runs every April, with all tournaments stopping daily at 4:20 p.m. for extended break in the action.

Another Big Year For Foxen

Foxen, who is featured on the recent ESPN broadcasts of the WSOP main event, put together yet another stellar summer of results. The 35-year-old made five final tables (nearly seven) and pocketed more than $2 million along with his fourth career bracelet.

As a result, the 2025 PokerGO Tour POY now finds himself in third place in the WSOP Player of the Year race with a shot at taking in down in December.

He’s also in the lead for the Card Player POY title, an award he has come painfully close to earning several times. In fact, Foxen has finished in the top 10 in eight of the last nine years.
