The World Series of Poker has announced major changes for the upcoming 2026 WSOP Circuit season. Chief among the changes for next year is a dramatic shift to the schedule. The 2026 WSOPC slate will feature a calendar-year format running from January through December, replacing an approach that previously saw the tour wrap up ahead of the summer before picking back up again post-WSOP.
“The WSOP Circuit is the lifeblood of our brand, consistently delivering world-class poker and massive prize pools to players across the globe,” said WSOP Chief Executive Officer Ty Stewart. “Shifting to a calendar-year season for 2026 marks a new era of predictability for our players, allowing them to better plan their pursuit of the coveted gold rings.”
All gold ring event winners this season will be awarded a $5,000 package redeemable at either WSOP Europe or WSOP Paradise, which will include tournament buy-in and hotel accommodations.
The first five months of the new-look schedule have been revealed, featuring 18 domestic stops and six additional WSOPC International festivals.
There are plenty of returning favorites in this first leg of the season, including Choctaw Casino & Resort in Oklahoma (Jan. 8-19) Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina (Feb. 12 – 23), and Horseshoe Hammond near Chicago (Feb. 26 – Mar. 9). The first stop kicks off on New Years day at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas (Jan. 1 – 12).
One of the new highlights is a stop at Texas Card House in Austin (Apr. 23 – May 4). This will mark the first-ever WSOP-branded stop in the Lone Star State.

The six international stops include three European offerings, as well as one in North Africa and two in Canada.
All WSOPC stops this season are set to take advantage of the WSOP+ app. According to the press release, the, “… digital platform is designed to enhance the player experience from entry to exit, offering streamlined tournament registration, payout information, and real-time data access for every event.”
