WATCH: Big Hands From Jared Bleznick’s $2.5 Million Online Poker Win

CoinPoker Released A Video Showing Most Of Bleznick's Biggest Hands En Route To His Massive Win

Jared Bleznick at the 2022 World Series of Poker

Less than two weeks ago, Jared Bleznick put on one of the most dominant displays in the history of online poker.

The native New Yorker, whose online screen name is ‘Theblez,’ multiple tables of nosebleed-stakes pot-limit Omaha at CoinPoker. By the time the dust settled, Bleznick won $2.5 million off his opponents.

Bleznick ran up a seven-figure stack while playing $1,000-$2,000 pot-limit Omaha against ‘PencilArms.’ He made the majority of his winnings in that heads-up match, winning $1.44 million off him.

Bleznick also played high-stakes CoinPoker regular ‘Giselle54,’ but at $200-$400 stakes. Bleznick got the best of that match as well, netting a $572,800 win.

Lastly, Bleznick mixed it up at the $200-$400 six-max pot-limit Omaha games. It was a slightly different format, but the results were similar. More winning.

Two other players at the table endured six-figure losses while Bleznick was crushing the competition. It was one of the biggest weekend wins in the online poker history.

CoinPoker’s YouTube channel recently published a video detailing Bleznick’s big hands with the card’s revealed. You can watch all the hands in the video below:

Where Does Bleznick’s Weekend Rank All-Time?

It’s not even a controversial statement to say this is the most impressive online poker session in the post-Black Friday landscape. Most sites don’t even spread games as big as $1,000-$2,000 pot-limit Omaha, which makes the size of Bleznick’s win even more unique.

To find anything even remotely comparable to Bleznick’s performance, you need to look at online poker results before April 2011.

In 2009, Viktor Blom was playing high-stakes online poker under the screen name ‘Isildur1.’ At the time, he was nothing more than an unknown Swedish player willing to battle anyone at any stakes.

Blom drove the action at the nosebleed stakes pot-limit Omaha tables on Full Tilt Poker and is a key figure when discussing the most epic online poker sessions ever.

Blom started his high-stakes tear by winning $6 million over just three weeks in matches against Tom Dwan. Then, he lost a good chunk of it back playing Patrik Antonius and Phil Ivey heads-up at $500-$1,000 pot-limit Omaha. Antonius won $2.7 million off Blom in a single night an1.d a few sessions later won the largest pot in the history of online poker, taking down a single pot worth $3 million.

Hastings Tops Everyone

But the Blom story culminates with the infamous sessions against Brian Hastings. Hastings also played $500-$1,000 pot-limit Omaha.

While still an undergraduate at Cornell University, Hastings won $4.2 million in a single night. A couple of days later, he won another $1.5 million. Just from the sheer numbers alone, it’s hard to put anyone’s single-day victory ahead of Hastings.

But Bleznick’s performance is clearly in the discussion for the most dominant online poker history.
